About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

In this captivating book of poems, Agubokwu reaches out and holds the hand of young children across the world. For children that are unable to express their feelings, this compilation does them justice. Poems in this book are an outlet of a variety of emotions and situations that all humans go through, but especially from the perspective of a child.

What thoughts float around the mind of a young intelligent mind? This question is exquisitely answered in the form of poetry in “The Heart of a Child”. Simple, honest, pure and candid, this collection of poems is a self portrait of a young author with a future that burns bright like the hope of a generation.
