JoAnne Anderson is the Ghetto Star. She was raised in a family of seven girls, her being the third oldest with four brothers. Born in Baltimore Maryland, raised in the south until the age of 11. Moved to New York where she learned that families keep a lot of secrets and the truth can be more vicious than fiction. She learned to stand in situations where she was misunderstood, pushed into maturity way too soon. She never let any setbacks push her down so far that she wasn’t able to pull herself back up and keep on trying. Through all of life’s difficulties she developed a strong portion of faith that continues to grow.
