Don Lichterman Sells Sunset Holding Co., LLC.

New York, NY, September 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In a statement dated August 28, 2008, Don Lichterman has sold all the assets, liabilities and the Sunset Holding Co., LLC business to the group of business owners in Florida. “I decided this year to concentrate on working our music the traditional way,” Lichterman says today. “I had tried experiments like creating the first digital only record label and I wanted to tap into the live download medium since leaving the major labels,” Lichterman continues and “I may revisit these ancillary ways to promote music in the future.”

The main proper record labels were started in the last year by Lichterman. Currently, Sunset has six (6) artists signed to the label with five (5) artists signed to Sunset Urban Records and two (2) artists each at Sunset Classics & Jazz and Tropical Records. Sunset Strategic marketing (SSM) and Sunset Home Visual Entertainment (SHE) have over 60 titles in stores today. Distribution is with the CBuJ Entertainment Company that is based in Nashville. This year, Sunset Urban has two (2) releases in the last quarter with hip-hop artist Kapital A and the world renowned recording artist Gina Thompson. Richtaste’s Lights and Shades is being released next Tuesday to retail stores all over the world. The New Surreal was just heard on an exclusive WPKN interview with their first single “We Got Time” being played all over the world. Lichterman has over 60 of his titles being considered for the Grammy Nomination Ballots this year.
