ACTING for Kids on the Autistic Spectrum is designed to enable parents to create acting programs with their children on their own and within their communities. Acting is used as a theraputic tool in addressing communication, social, and life skills deficits that are common among children with autism. "My hope is that this book will help children on the autistic spectrum use acting as a means of understanding the unwritten rules of communication and social skills that their peers seem to apply naturally," says author Alisa Wolf M.Ed.
An extensive creative giude that enables children with special needs to express themselves imaginatively. "This is a must-have book for anyone who works with actors, autism or not."
- Emmy Award-winning producer Al Burton
