They will begin the flight test and engineering program for FAA Type Certification over the next few months and hope to have balloons certified and ready to sell to the ballooning community within 6 months to a year.
“This is an exciting venture and will dramatically cut the cost for entry level, sport and commercial balloonists in North America” said Mike Clark, Flight Manager for the program. “We expect to be able to leverage the current market in order to sell high quality balloon systems for a price that almost anyone wanting to be involved in ballooning can afford.”
