Reno, NV, September 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On October 24, 2008, the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) will host their third annual online conference entitled, "Building Success through Education!" This 12-hour event (8:00 am to 8:00 pm EDT) is specifically designed for home-based business professionals who work virtually. This webinar is open to the public. There will be a vast array of topics offered, with sessions from inspiring, expert presenters covering issues for both the new and the veteran virtual professional – and even those wishing to learn more about joining the field.

Attendees may choose a la carte from any of three sessions offered every hour or may simply take one of IVAA’s suggested “course routes” for the day:

· Freshman – Geared towards those considering this career or who have been in business for only one or two years.
· Tenured – Featuring topics for virtual professionals in business for several years who wish to expand their business, stay on top of current trends, and enhance their skills / services.
· Training Room – The Training room is a series of interactive sessions designed to give participants hands-on experience with today’s hottest technology.

In today’s shaky economy, many businesses turn to the virtual world for professional and secretarial support. Today’s Virtual Assistants are able offer the same skill level and administrative services found in any office team, but they offer these at a savings, billing clients only for the time a project takes to complete. There are no sick days, vacations, or company-paid benefits in the virtual world. Since VA’s work remotely, the business owner doesn’t even have to provide an office or a computer. Assignments are transmitted at the speed of light via the internet or fax.

Since 1999, the IVAA has been dedicated to the professional education and development of virtual assistants worldwide, as well as educating the public about the function and services VA’s offer. With over 1,000 members in over fifteen countries, IVAA is the premier industry association, setting standards for excellence and offering a myriad of courses leading up to formal certification (CVA). Hosting the annual online conference allows IVAA to reach a wide audience and continue their mission to educate and certify the best professionals in this growing industry.

Through these virtual courses and certification program, IVAA provides a much needed doorway for men and women to re-enter the business world after years of staying home for their families – or just to make a lifestyle change and leave commutes and offices behind.

You can participate in this event with only an internet connection and computer (or join discussions with headset with microphone). The webinar is open to the public, no membership is required.
