Deep Expressions of the Human Experience Featured Through Dance at Arcosanti
Human Nature Dance Theatre returns to Arcosanti.
Mayer, AZ, September 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Human Nature Dance Theatre returns to Arcosanti on Saturday, September 27, 2008 for an original dance performance at the Colly Soleri Music Center. The collaborative performance group expresses the deepest elements of the human experience through movement, music, and words.
The performers will spend a week-long intensive workshop before the event to develop the new program for this year's performance at Arcosanti. For images and information about the performance group, visit the Human Nature Dance Theatre website at http://humannature.ws.
The evening begins with a complimentary tour of Arcosanti at 5:00 p.m. A gourmet vegetarian dinner will be served after the tour at 6:00 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 for the dinner and performance or $20 for the performance only ($10 students). Arcosanti, a project of the Cosanti Foundation, is an urban laboratory under construction in the high desert of central Arizona that seeks to reduce humankind’s ecological impact on the earth. Visitor tours are available every day (except major holidays) on the hour from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Visitor’s Center is open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Meals and overnight accommodations are also available. Famous Soleri ceramic and bronze windbells are produced and sold on site.
