Except We Care, Inc. Provides OEMs and CMs with the Option to Donate Excess Electronic Components

Except We Care, Inc. a non-profit corporation announces the launch of a new service to the electronics industry. Now Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) can donate their excess electronic component inventory, rather than sell it at liquidation prices to brokers and independent distributors.

Alpharetta, GA, September 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Historically, the OEMs and CMs only option was to work through the broker network, and hope they would realize some value for their excess inventory sitting on shelves collecting dust. Often excess inventory was thrown away rather than face the hassle of preparing it for sale, or pay the cost of shipping. By donating these electronic parts the OEM and CM not only can receive a tax donation based on the full cost–basis of the parts, but they can know they are putting this inventory to good use again by allowing Except We Care to further it’s mission of helping those who have much greater needs. Except We Care will also purchase this excess inventory in the event the OEM and CM need to sell.

About: Except We Care, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose purpose since 2003 is to develop financial and physical resources to fund, supply, and enable, non-profits and existing faith-based organizations who are active and effective, in ministering to human need at the local levels, primarily in the nations of Africa and India.

A simple strategy has been developed to build a self-sustaining Non-Profit organization that takes Excess Electronic Components and Engineering Samples used in the Electronics Industry, receive them as donations or purchase them, and sell them through established specialized electronic parts exchanges.
