Fairytale Brownies Makes it to the Top of the World - Mt. Everest!
Chandler, AZ, June 12, 2002 --(PR.com)-- Fairytale Brownies, a mail-order gourmet Belgian chocolate brownie company is on top of the world, literally. The company tagline "We ship worldwide" has an addendum: "Even to the world's highest mountain."
Fairytale Brownies were waiting for Alison Levine and the members of the Discovery Everest Expedition at base camp on Mt. Everest after their attempt at scaling the world's largest peak, Mt. Everest, in late May.
Fairytale Brownies were sent to Katmandu after an email was received from base camp on April 25. Alison talked about the hardships of climbing to the top of the world, and she mentioned her "favorite dessert in the whole universe", Fairytale Brownies: "…I wish I would have brought a few dozen with me-I know those things would get me to the top." Wish granted. Fairytale Brownies were on their way!
The brownies were mailed to Alison that same day by her mother, Cookie Levine. The Nut-Free Double Dozen was sent via U.S. Priority Mail and the 5 lb assortment was carried to Base Camp by a team Sherpa.
The Discovery Everest Expedition consisted of a phenomenal group of American women who partnered with the Ford Motor Company and embraced Ford's "no boundaries" theme for its attempt on Mt. Everest. The team spent nearly 2 months in Nepal and ultimately came within 280 feet of the summit, a summit reached by only 11 other American women in history.
Fairytale Brownies has been baking brownies from scratch in small batches using a 45-year-old secret family recipe since 1992. The gourmet Belgian chocolate brownies are baked in 12 distinct and delectable flavors and are certified kosher. Gift packaging is available in multiple sizes for a variety of occasions. The company has received rave reviews in publications such as The New York Times, USA Today and The Wine Spectator and was recently featured in a segment of Food Finds on The Food Network.
And yes, they do ship worldwide.
