Contoocook, NH, September 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lascar Electronics has announced a new version of its popular EL-USB line of data loggers. The new EL-USB-2-LCD is a USB Temperature/Humidity logger with integrated 2 ½ digit, high contrast display.

Building on the outstanding price/performance feature set found on the EL-USB-2 data logger, the new EL-USB-2-LCD features:

- A wide Measurement range of -35 to +80°C (-31 to +176°F) and 0 to 100% RH
- Storage for up to 16,000 Temp and Humidity samples (16K Temp & 16K RH)
- A variety of preset sample rates from 10 seconds to 12 hours
- 2 ½ digit, high contrast LCD showing latest log and min/max logs
- User-programmable alarm thresholds for Temp or Humidity

Using the “EasyLog” software that’s supplied with the logger, users can quickly and easily set up the logger for deployment. Once monitoring is completed, the user can view relative humidity, temperature and dew point data on screen. Data can then be graphed, printed or exported to other applications.

At the touch of a button, the high contrast display can cycle between current temperature and humidity readings and the highest and lowest readings recorded for that deployment.

Suggested list price for this feature rich logger is $97 and it ships complete with long life lithium battery and software.
