Dallas Golfer Improves Performance Thanks to Body Balance
Dallas, TX, September 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Harold Culp sought after a top-notch teaching professional to address his lack of consistency on the course. Suspecting his problem was physical rather than mental, his instructor, Erik Wait of GolfTEC, referred him to Body Balance for Performance of Dallas.
Culp's biggest physical limitations were a lack of rotation and upper and lower body separation, according to Heather Parker, his Body Balance for Performance golf fitness instructor.
"It was great to see Harold beam with excitement when everything we’d been working on started to come together," said Parker. "Our goals for increasing his range of motion had been achieved, the right muscles were getting stronger, and we were finally able to put everything to proper use.
"The end result translated into significant improvements in overall swing flaws, such as a decreased slide, which meant making more shots consistently and lowering his score."
Culp is not the first GolfTEC client to benefit from additional instruction at the Dallas Body Balance for Performance. The two companies have built a partnership that benefits both them and their clients.
"Body Balance is a great outlet for GolfTEC to send our dedicated clients to in order to achieve body movements that were otherwise unlikely to be reached during normal golf instruction," said Wait. "Body Balance also allows GolfTEC to offer a service that most golfers would otherwise not be presented with and in most cases never even realize exists for the average golfer."
Jill Lide, marketing director for Body Balance for Performance of Dallas, agrees.
"The teaching professionals at GolfTEC recognize that the things some (instructors) teach can be harmful to their client’s golf swing and overall physical well-being," Lide said. "Often, those physical issues need to be addressed before they cause more problems with the client’s golf swing and overall physical well-being."
Body Balance for Performance believes that many swing flaws have a corresponding body problem. With their state-of-the-art technology, they can identify which body problems need focus, enabling their clients to play better golf and live pain-free lives.
"For our clients, Body Balance has allowed many of them to make the movements that they were unable to make prior to visiting Heather at Body Balance," said Wait. "For a very high percentage of our clients, just golf instruction and self-administered stretching alone might not be enough to overcome physical restrictions."
