Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill Raises $2,900 for The V Foundation

Cary, NC, September 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jim Mallon, managing partner of Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill (www.jackastors.com) located at 2300 Walnut St. in Cary, has announced that the restaurant raised $2,900 at their bartender competition on June 4. All proceeds will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Attendees purchased tickets to the event in which participants showcased their skills, dance steps and new drink inventions in an event that has been a part of Jack Astor’s tradition for eight years.

“Jack Astor’s is delighted to donate $2,900 to The V Foundation for Cancer Research,” said Mallon. “We are proud of our staff and customers for coming out to support such an excellent cause.”
