One Stop Northern Kentucky Sponsors Program to Help Explain Career Options

Career Education Expo to Feature Dozens of Local Colleges and Training Facilities.

Florence, KY, September 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- One Stop Northern Kentucky will be hosting a career education expo Oct. 1 that will help prepare individuals for a better job and career advancement. The free event will take place from 1-4 p.m. at One Stop Northern Kentucky in Florence. The expo will provide access to information about career training programs, funding options, and will allow individuals to speak to representatives from local colleges and training providers.

Special emphasis will be on training in demand industries such as: information technology, transportation and logistics, advanced manufacturing, services, healthcare and energy.

Participating colleges, schools, and programs include: Beckfield College, Brown Mackie College, Career Connections, Career STEPS, Center for Employment Training, Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Daymar College, Gateway Community and Technical College, Health Connections, Interactive College of Technology, Ivy Tech Community College, Napier Truck Driver Training, National College, New Horizons, Northern Kentucky University, ProTrain, Southern State Community College, The Hair Design School, Warren County Career Center, and more,

The Career Education expo will be held Wednesday, October 1st from 1-4 p.m. at One Stop Northern Kentucky on 8020 Veterans Memorial Drive in Florence. The event is free and open to the public. More information can be accessed at www.nkyonestop.org.
