ATG Wins $8M Navy Contract

Lexington Park, MD, September 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Assurance Technology Group, LLC (ATG) announced today it has been awarded a five-year, $8-million Seaport-e task-order to provide calibration equipment engineering and management services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona. NSWC Corona is the Navy’s center of excellence for metrology and calibration.

These services support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, including development of calibration equipment allowances, operation of the NAVAIR Calibration Standards Ready Issue Activity, and logistics management services supporting acquisition, distribution, and repair of calibration equipment for naval aviation calibration laboratories. Work will be performed at Patuxent River, Maryland and Beaufort, South Carolina.

ATG, founded in 2000, is a measurement science-focused, Veteran-owned Small Business based in Lexington Park, Maryland. ATG currently provides program management, engineering and technical services, metrology engineering and calibration laboratory support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Metrology Engineering Support Branch (MESB), and engineering support to the NAWC Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility.
