The innovation might be creating unusual and important technology or approaching developing technology in a significantly new and innovative way, such as by bringing diverse people and experiences together in the technology creation process.

“We are pleased to open this year’s Women of Vision Awards nominations and look forward to learning about the amazing achievements of women technologists across the country and around the world,” said Dr. Telle Whitney, CEO, Anita Borg Institute. “They not only use the power of technology in innovative ways that make them leaders in their respective fields, they are also strong role models for women of all generations and earn this recognition because they have a unique vision of using technology to improve our world.”
