Astro Machine Works, Inc. Expands with New State of the Art Facility
Company poised for growth with increased manufacturing space and productivity.
Ephrata, PA, October 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Astro Machine Works, Inc. announced its plans to break ground on an additional facility to be constructed adjacent to its Wenger Drive location in Ephrata. The expansion will grant the company an additional 26,000 square feet of manufacturing space, being constructed in two phases. This new facility will increase manspace by 100% for a total of 50,000 square feet and will allow capacity for additional machinery, employees and capabilities.
The state of the art facility will have a 30' high ceiling with a 5 ton crane providing 24' under hook, thereby increasing the volume and size of Astro's product offerings and will play an integral part in Astro's continued business growth and success.
Eric Blow, President of Astro states, "The expansion is part of Astro's continued success and could not have happened without the hard work, innovation and dedication of our employees and trusted suppliers. The new building will allow us to offer our customers far greater capabilities and will once again demonstrate our dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction and service."
The building completion in early 2009 marks Astro Machine Works, Inc's 25th anniversary in business. The company is currently heading for a record year in sales, and will be hiring aggressively to support the new expansion. Astro has also embarked on its Quality Management System implementation and has targeted the first half of 2009 for its ISO 9001 and AS 9100 registration, increasing its competitive advantage in the marketplace.
