Burlington, MA, October 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- SoftInWay Inc., a global provider of flow path design software for axial and radial turbomachinery, announces its next training course which will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, on December 3-5, 2008. During the course SoftInWay experts will share theoretical and practical knowledge of multidisciplinary design, analysis and optimization of flow path using AxSTREAM™ with participants.
The curriculum includes interactive courses on axial compressor, axial turbine, centrifugal compressors, turbochargers, fans, blowers and turbopumps engineering and optimization. The participants will be able to select a particular subject depending on their interests and industry niche and to use the 3-day training to gain a deeper insight into the design capabilities of AxSTREAM™ software for education. Besides, an extra track focusing on the evaluation and retrofitting of the existing turbomachinery will be provided.
SoftInWay developers will also present the features of the 3rd generation of AxSTREAM™ that will be launched in Q1 2009, to name just a few, the implementation of customizable fluid and loss models and the new structure of internal database enabling the usage of such auxiliary units as valves and HEX. Starting from the next AxSTREAM version, analytical fluid models are available as external DLL, and two kinds of fluid models come with tables of real gas and thermal perfect gas specifications.
The previous SoftInWay seminars showed that multidisciplinary optimization of flow path with AxSTREAM™ could be successfully used on design level, with reasonable time and computer resources. The detailed tutorials, hands-on curriculum, as well as the professional support of SoftInWay staff ensure the high efficiency of these turbomachinery flow path design optimization courses. During 2008 AxSTREAM workshops got very positive feedback from more than 60 attendees from all over the world. "Despite the fact that I'd been using AxSTREAM for several months already, their training course helped me to get a better understanding of the software capabilities," said Torsten Hagedorn, Stork Turbo Service GmbH, Germany.
SoftInWay offers special discounts for those who register for this training course till October 15. Further details regarding the pricing and course information are available at www.softinway.com.
