LCVA Foundation to Host Golf Classic and Auction Fundraiser
Leesburg, VA, October 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Businesses and community members are invited to take part in the LCVA Foundation’s Charity Golf Classic and Auction on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the beautiful Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg. The day promises something for everyone: a golf classic for those who wish to compete for great prizes, a golf clinic for those who want to brush up on their golfing skills, and a reception, dinner and silent and live auctions. Everyone is welcome to register for all or a portion of the day’s events.
This annual event will raise funds for the LCVA Foundation to conduct research, provide education and training to the hospitality industry in Loudoun, and grant scholarships to graduating seniors of Loudoun County to pursue further education in the fields of hospitality and tourism.
Golfers have the opportunity to win great prizes throughout the tournament, including a new car for a hole-in-one. Auction items already donated include a year-long corporate membership to Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club, weekend getaways, golf outings, and more.
The cost to participate in the golf classic is $650 per foursome or $180 per individual golfer. This includes golf, a gourmet boxed lunch, goody bag, a photo, reception, dinner and live and silent auctions. The cost to participate in the golf clinic is $50 and also includes the reception, dinner and auctions. Non-golfers are also invited to the reception, auction and dinner for $40 per person.
