The Denicalis Dragon Chronicles Series by MJ Allaire is an Overwhelming Hit with Fantasy Readers at the Big E

Uncasville, CT, October 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MJ Allaire's YA Fantasy series was an overwhelming hit to readers of all ages at the CAPA Bookstore in the Connecticut Building (along the Avenue of the States) at the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Big E is the largest fair in New England and ran this year from September 12th to the 28th.

This was the second consecutive year for the CAPA (Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association) Bookstore and it was phenomenally successful. The booth was filled with over 100 titles by 65 authors, all members of CAPA. Each day the bookstore featured a variety of authors from a range of genres, consistently putting the authors in contact with readers, librarians, teachers, and parents (to name a few), every day, rain or shine.

Allaire's series for young adults ("or anyone from ages 8-88 with an imagination"), the Denicalis Dragon Chronicles, was one of the top sellers in the CAPA bookstore this year, selling nearly 400 copies over the 17-day period! The books in the series to date are Dragon's Blood, The Prisoner, and Dragon's Tear (books 1, 2 and 3, respectively). Allaire is hoping to have book four in the series available by late Summer, 2009 and she plans on having at least five books in the series.

MJ Allaire grew up in South Florida now lives in Southeastern Connecticut with her children. She has always loved reading and wanted her children to feel the same way, so she decided to write a book for them, keeping them in mind. Now, three years and three books later, she has happily discovered that she’s writing for all children, not just her own. Through hard work and relentless dedication, MJ strives to be a positive example for her children as she shows them they Can do anything they put their minds to.
