OECD Becomes a Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks Certified Content Partner
Paris, France, October 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- OECD announced today that it has become a Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks Certified content provider. Bibliographic metadata relating to SourceOECD, the OECD’s iLibrary of socioeconomic analysis and data will be kept accurate and up-to-date in the Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks database.
Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks supplies data to Serials Solutions 360, a complete set of e-resource access and management services. With constantly changing collections, managing e-resources is a never ending challenge and OECD is committed to enabling librarians to provide access to its content as easily as possible. By becoming KnowledgeWorks certified OECD is confirming that precise and timely bibliographic metadata will continue to be provided to Serials Solutions to enable librarians to run their complex and diverse online collections.
OECD provides bibliographic data for journals, e-books and other content to Serials Solutions on a monthly basis for input into the knowledgebase. Serials Solutions has granted direct access to KnowledgeWorks enabling OECD to undertake regular verification of metadata and provide any changes. Participation in the program also ensures direct communication between Serials Solutions and OECD to resolve client inquiries in a timely manner.
