The Knowledge Congress Has Scheduled a Live Webinar Entitled: "Foreclosure Prevention for Banks & Credit Unions" on 01/09/2009
New York, NY, October 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Knowledge Congress, the leading producer of regulatory focused webinars, announced today that it has scheduled a live webinar entitled “Foreclosure Prevention for Banks & Credit Unions” This two-hour event is scheduled on Wednesday, January 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (EDT –New York).
The recent extended credit crisis has caused a record number of home foreclosures. While tragic for homeowners, this also presents considerable difficulties for banks and credit unions. Home foreclosures often require banks to take possession and forcing them to sell the properties at a loss. The key to minimizing these risks is to take steps internally to help prevent at least some foreclosures.
The Knowledge Congress has assembled a group of key thought leaders in this area who will help your institution understand how to take preventive measures in this area. The group will present their findings in an upcoming webinar.
Speakers/Faculty Panel
Mark Kaufman, Deputy Commissioner of Financial Regulation, Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation
Garth Rieman, Director of Housing Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives, Office of the General Counsel,National Council of State Housing Agencies
