Blockdot Releases New Game for VH1
Dallas, TX, October 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Dallas-based Blockdot has released “Drop the Beat,” a new game promoting VH1 and the 2008 Hip Hop Honors show, premiering October 6, 10pm Eastern time.
“Drop the Beat,” which is Blockdot’s first game for VH1, challenges the player to stay in rhythm with the beat of the song. By clicking on highlighted turntables, keyboards, and stereo speakers in tandem with the music, the player scores points. A player is given a strike if a beat missed or the wrong section is clicked. If the player collects three strikes, the game comes to an end.
The game can be played on http://games.vh1.com/online.php?gid=373.
VH1’s annual Hip Hop Honors show celebrates the vision, innovation and groove power of the seminal artists who help make hip hop such a strong cultural force around the world. For more information on the 2008 Hip Hop Honors show, visit http://www.hiphop.vh1.com.
