Lydia’s Uniforms Announces Contest That Will Run the Entire Month of October

Grand Rapids, MI, October 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lydia’s Uniforms monthly Editor @ Large contest is in session for the month of October. To enter the contest, consumers must submit a short paragraph on Lydia’s Uniforms’ topic of choice. The topic for October is dress codes.

To enter the contest, customers must submit their thoughts in the form of a comment on the company’s blog, Facebook profile or MySpace page. The comment must be under 200 words and pertain to the dress code that the individual abides by at work. Entrants are encouraged to discuss what they like/dislike about the dress code, what they wear to abide by it and how the dress code affects their work environment. With the contest, Lydia’s Uniforms intends to encourage conversation among Lydia’s customers on topics that are relevant to health care professionals.

Last month Lydia’s asked customers to submit comments about their uniform styles. Entrants posted many comments with references to what makes their medical scrubs unique and how they stand out in their nursing scrubs. The winning comment was from Kim E. who stated, “I look for tops with feminine flair and pants that match my body type. I often pair a small scarf in the fall and spring that can easily be worn all day to match. I take extra time to look for cute and unusual jewelry to coordinate the colors and tie it all together. My favorite way to personalize my scrubs is with embroidery, whether I put my name, or simple designs on pockets or pants leg or along seam lines.” Kim received a $50 gift certificate for her winning entry.
