Call for Happiness: Website Seeks Images of Joy

Vancouver, WA, October 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ISpyJoy.com, a new website dedicated to joy, is inviting people everywhere to share joy by posting images capturing the expression on the website.

“When we see joyful images, it makes us happy. The purpose of ISpyJoy.com is to remind us that joy is everywhere around us, we just have to open our eyes to it,” said founder Michele M. Larsen.

Larsen started the website and blog as a way to chronicle her own journey toward happiness. Realizing we often find what we’re looking for, she chose the name from the I Spy game often played on long car drives as a child.

The website creates a place for people to share the joy they’ve captured on film and spread it to others. “Ultimately, I’d love for people to be able to log on and see joy from every city in the world,” said Larsen. Currently, the site has images from the US, New Zealand and Paraguay.

There’s no fee to post images or view them; and people posting can designate their images to only be shared online or to also be included in the possibly resulting book.
