Distron Corporation Achieves ISO 13485 Medical Device Certification

Distron Corporation achieves the certification to an internationally recognized management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a requirement for the manufacturing of commercial medical devices.

Attleboro Falls, MA, October 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Distron Corporation today announced successful certification to ISO 13485: 2003, Quality Management Standard for Medical Devices. Company President Robert Donovan personally thanked Mike Hayes, Director of Engineering and Quality for the firm, who coordinated the certification process. The certification to this standard, an internationally recognized management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is a requirement for the manufacturing of commercial medical devices.
