IDGC of Centre’s Shares Included in the MICEX PWR Index Calculation Base
MICEX Stock Exchange held a quarterly review of the MICEX PWR index calculation base, according to which IDGC of Centre’s shares were added to it beginning from 25 October 2008.
Moscow, Russia, October 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MICEX Stock Exchange held a quarterly review of the MICEX PWR index calculation base, following the results of which IDGC of Centre’s shares were added to it beginning from 25 October 2008. The updated calculation base will be valid from 27 October 2008 to 23 January 2009.
“Inclusion of the company’s shares in the index calculation proves high liquidity of its securities and investors’ taking great interest in the company,” said Konstantin Kotikov, the Deputy General Director for Corporate Governance.
MICEX PWR Index is a generally recognized indicator of the behavior of Russian power companies’ shares. The index calculation includes the shares of those companies, the primary business of which is connected with generation, transmission, distribution and sales of the electric power.

In 2008 - Business Process Excellence Award 2008 in the Bussiness Perfomance Improvement nomination.
