Pioneer Signs Deal to Deliver Court Case System to Okaloosa County Florida
Sanford, FL, October 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Pioneer Technology Group (PTG) today announced the signing of a contract with the Okaloosa County Clerk’s office for Benchmark, the company’s new state of the art Court Case Management System. The system was developed specifically for use in Florida courts and uses the latest technologies to aid County Clerks in doing more with less.
“We have seen a tremendous amount of interest in Benchmark since we began showing it to Florida’s Clerks last month,” said Steve Rumsey President of PTG. “It is really gratifying for us to know that we have developed a tool that will enable County Clerks to streamline processes and realize efficiencies, as caseloads continue to increase,” Mr. Rumsey continued.
“System installation will begin immediately, with data conversion followed by system implementation, customization, and, finally, training. We expect Benchmark to be fully operational in Okaloosa County by May 2009,” said Chris Stewart, Executive Vice President for Pioneer.
Benchmark is unique blend of Web tools and Client Server processes developed using Microsoft’s .Net platform and Sql 2005. The system incorporates document imaging, improved workflows, and in-court processing techniques that Harold Bazzel, Clerk of the Court in Bay County Florida, expects will allow his county to absorb 20% to 25% more volume without additional staffing.
Benchmark is surprisingly simple to use with a consistent look and feel to all aspects of the system. “This system was designed to be easy to implement and easy to use. It doesn’t matter with which module you are working, they look and operate in a similar fashion, facilitating ease of training.” stated Mr. Rumsey.
