SoftwareONE, Inc. Continues Global Expansion to Include United Kingdom

Milwaukee, WI, October 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- SoftwareONE Inc., announced today the continued growth of their organizational footprint with the opening of a new office based in London, England servicing the United Kingdom. SoftwareONE-UK will become the newest member in the growing list of SoftwareONE European offices added within the past year to include Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.

SoftwareONE have also recruited from Bytes Technology Group’s UK division executive Zak Virdi. “Zak brings a wealth of experience to our organization. Both Bytes and SoftwareONE are embracing this as a positive move that will not only strengthen the long-standing partnership between the two companies, but facilitate significant growth,” explained SoftwareONE Global CEO, Patrick Winter. “Zak will also take on additional responsibility regarding SoftwareONE’s Global Software Asset Management (SAM) Offering and assist with global sales engagement,” explained Winter.

Zak brings with him 15 years of experience in the licensing and SAM industry, having held the position of Sales Director of Bytes Technology Group. He is also a co-founder of Investors in Software (iiS) which has developed the internationally recognised ISO 19770-1 SAM standard offering a best practice framework for Software Asset Management (SAM). Zak has recently taken a board position for (FAST) Federation Against Software Theft.
