Kansas City, MO, October 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Kansas City based law firm Peterson & Associates, P.C. (www.petersonlawfirm.com) is announcing a town hall meeting concerning the outbreak of brain tumors and various cancers in and around Cameron, Missouri being held Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Countryside Hall, 11411 NE Highway 69, just a few blocks south of Casey’s.
Dr. James Dahlgren, a toxicology expert exclusively retained by the law firm, will be the featured speaker. He will be available to answer medical and scientific questions and to provide more information about this very serious matter. Dr. Dahlgren is the Medical Director for a clinic in Santa Monica, California. He has 35 years of experience as an internist diagnosing and treating patients with toxic poisoning, being a seasoned and well respected toxicologist the world over. Dr. Dahlgren’s current roles also include an assistant clinical professorship of medicine at UCLA School of Medicine, in addition to authoring dozens of articles and two books. He was the leading expert in the famous Hinkley, California Chromium 6 case and currently advises those who have suffered from toxic contamination following the 9/11 attacks in New York City.
On Thursday, October 9, 2008, the DHSS presented findings from the recent Cancer Inquiry, concluding that the numbers in the four-county area for both benign and malignant brain tumors were not significantly different from the state or U.S. levels. The DHSS would not disclose the locations of those suffering from tumors or the potential clustering of individuals in Cameron. Peterson & Associates, P.C. will be disclosing the results of its independent investigation at the Town Hall Meeting, including the presentation of a map identifying locations of individuals known to have developed tumors in Cameron. Additional information concerning the extensive research conducted by the law firm will also be discussed.
This meeting is open to all members of the public and surrounding areas.
