The Knowledge Congress Has Scheduled a Live Webinar on Statement 157 Fair Value Accounting for Non Profits
New York, NY, October 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Knowledge Congress, the leading producer of regulatory focused webinars, announced today that it has scheduled a live webinar on Statement 157 Fair Value Accounting for Non Profits. This two-hour event is scheduled on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (ET – New York).
Introduced in September 2006 for public companies, FAS No. 157 helped to more clearly define measuring fair value in GAAP and has also expanded fair value measurement disclosures. Recently, adoption in implementation of Statement No. 157 is starting to become a significant accounting issue for non-profit entities - and is on the radar of most in this sector.
The Knowledge Congress is assembling a panel of distinguished professionals and key regulators to help understand Statement No 157 for non-profits and its impact on the broader market. The speakers will present their expert opinions in a two-hour Live Webinar.
Speakers/Faculty Panel
Dayton D. Nordin, Principal Transaction Advisory Services - Valuation & Business Modeling, Ernst & Young
Richard Marshall, Partner, Ropes & Gray, LLP
