Heilman's Beachcomber for the First Time in Over 40 Years Will Change the Look of Its Walls, Event Planned by Artist Patricia Hunter, Owner of Ink Graphics Online
And to think that in more than 50 years the walls have never changed. Artist & owner of Ink Graphics Online, Patricia Filomeno Hunter’s paintings will adorn the walls of the Beachcomber Restaurant while she paints the day away on the afternoon of October 20th. This live exhibition will kick off her permanent art exhibit at the beautiful restaurant in Clearwater, Florida, as well as her Design firm Ink Graphics, which is the one in charge of planning the event.
North Clearwater, FL, October 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Heilman’s Beachcomber Restaurant has been in the Clearwater for more than 50 years. Like a good bottle of wine, the Beachcomber just seems to get better. The Beachcomber has played host to people from all over the world, some of whom come back to Clearwater because of the promise of a fine dining experience.
And to think that in more than 50 years the walls have never changed, not until October 20th at 3:30 pm.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m., visitors to Heilman’s Beachcomber will be treated to meeting the exciting artist, Patricia Filomeno Hunter, while she paints away. Filomeno is an adventurous painter, who is certainly not afraid of color. Her painted lines virtually dance across the canvas and engage the viewer in a visual treat.
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Filomeno’s childhood is strongly reflected in her paintings. At 18 years of age, she moved to Atlanta with her family, where she graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with an Associate in Arts Degree.
When asked to define art, Filomeno looks inward. “It connects our conscious with our subconscious,” she says. “It allows us to explore our inner selves and fill that urge to understand our ever-changing body, mind and universe. It is the most important part of every one of us.”
Heilman’s Beachcomber is proud to be exhibiting this artist’s body of work and invites you to experience the beauty and color for yourself, along with some wonderful music and wine.
