UK Business David’s Set to Slay Recession Goliath
Coventry, United Kingdom, October 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Entrepreneurs attending a recent Marketing Masterclass in Coventry UK are set to overcome giant problems as businesses face a recession. By a quirk of fate every delegate at the Masterclass was called David and, having learnt new marketing strategies, they are now set to vanquish the corporate Goliaths.
The audience at the Marketing Masterclass, organised by international marketing expert Stefan Drew, were told that a recession is a perfect time for small marketing-focused businesses to grow. Stranger still all the delegates at the event were called David.
Stefan Drew commented, “Most business owners cut marketing when times are hard and yet, although it sounds strange, a recession is a golden opportunity to grow a business. And although it seems improbable that businesses can grow during a recession it is no stranger than every delegate on the course being called David and yet both are true.
He continued, “The reality is that with so many businesses tightening their belts any business willing to market effectively will win market share and can do very well despite the economic downturn.”
David Cumming was one of the “Davids” attending the one-day course. David, who owns lighting design and control company, “design2light” commented, “I found the Masterclass instructive, practical and, as importantly, thought provoking and motivational. It was extremely valuable in addressing the broad range of inexpensive marketing that allow a small business to compete on a national and international stage.”
He continued, “To have a seasoned individual imparting their practical knowledge and the sharing of experience between participants added to the value of the class. All in all a most worthwhile day, providing a wealth of tools to arm the Davids of the SME world to compete against the corporate Goliaths.”
Wedding photographer, David Morphew, commented, “He certainly does what he says on the tin. Stefan has an uncanny knack of cutting through the trivia, focussing on the essentials and coming up with creative and inexpensive marketing ideas that work.”
David Carr, Web Developer for Coventry Best For Business, “Iti is vital in times of such economic uncertainty to learn affordable, yet highly effective, marketing strategies. We Davids have learned to reach potential customers for a fraction of the cost of more orthodox marketing methods.”
The next One Day Marketing Magician Masterclass is being held in Coventry on January 29th 2009. Details can be found at http://www.stefandrew.com/training/MarketingMagicianMasterclasses.html and Stefan is so convinced that it will help businesses he is again offering a money-back guarantee with the course.
