Company Names Wayne Wisong SR Director, Erisa Compliance

Ft Lauderdale, FL, October 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mahoney & Associates, a privately-held international compensation and benefits management firm, announces the appointment of Wayne Wisong, JD as Senior Director, ERISA Compliance. Mr. Wisong joins the firm as an integral member of the company’s Compliance & Audit Services Department. In his new role, Mr. Wisong will be performing compliance reviews of client plan documents, contracts and practices to identify potential issues and recommend steps for resolution.

During thirty years of practice, Mr. Wisong has earned a uniquely broad perspective in compliance law including experience with the IRS, large consulting companies and law firms and in his own practice. His work has involved qualified and non-qualified plans including 401(k) plans, defined contribution and defined benefit plans as well as various types of executive compensation and retirement plans. His area of expertise also encompasses many aspects of executive compensation and tax law.

In addition to his rich and varied experience, he has impressive academic credentials. He is an honors graduate from San Diego State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and in 1986 earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.
