Sugar, Spice and Everything Green: the Eco-Chic Green Finishing School

More Than A Model, an Eco-Chic Green Finishing School, is something brand new to the United States market. It teaches millennials how to act and model, along with life skills, healthy green habits and self-confidence.

San Francisco, CA, October 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- More than a Model (MTAM) is more than your typical finishing, etiquette school. Ever wanted to learn how to model? Check. Want to learn how to work a camera, or position yourself during an interview? Done. How about learning about healthy living, life skills, and how to be green, eco-conscious in all you do?

MTAM has that too.

MTAM, the first known finishing school of its kind, strives to build Millenials (ages 8-18) into green-conscious, model citizens; they learn how to walk upright, (no slouching), to work the camera with direct eye contact, and enjoy the spotlight in the process. These young adults also have the opportunity to model for Real Kids (RK) Magazine, a publication associated with MTAM.

“It is so rewarding to work with these tweens and teens,” says Lane Kennedy, director of MTAM and former commercial and fashion model. “By accepting and working on life challenges they become strong, confident model citizens that I know will make a difference in the world.” Kennedy coaches kids and parents through workshops with subjects ranging from healthy living, how to avoid addictive habits to why it is important to live a green, sustainable life and how to focus on improving one’s lifestyle.

The third issue of Real Kids Magazine will be released on October 27 and will feature many of Kennedy’s students with a fair amount of information about green-consciousness and our world’s new Green sustainable habits.

Parents who think their children need an extra boost of confidence, or want them to expand their horizons, take it back old school style: get involved with the Eco-Chic Green Finishing School. Get involved with More Than A Model Today.

About More Than A Model (MTAM)
MTAM’s workshops are geared for the development of aspiring tweens and teens as well as for anyone who is interested in improving their presentation, poise and self-confidence. Each workshop teaches students the fundamental skills of being on camera, developing a “look” and taking direction on set and in life, while also offering practical information on building character, self-esteem and inner strength for today’s fast-paced, constantly changing world. All workshop students have an opportunity to participate in photo shoots that may ultimately be featured in realkidsmagazine.com, an exciting new teen lifestyle online magazine that highlights current topics that teens like to talk about: organic living, recycled fashion and healthy habits.
