Communology Joins the OMTP Industry Forum to Simplify Customer Experience of Mobile Applications

As an advisor, Communology will contribute to solve the problem of mobile application platforms fragmentation.

Cologne, Germany, October 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Communology, a software and solutions vendor specializing in mobile multimedia applications has joined the OMTP (Open Mobile Terminal Platform). Founded in June 2004 by eight mobile operators, OMTP was set up with the aim of simplifying the customer experience of mobile data services and improving mobile device security. OMTP draws its membership and sponsors from some 35 companies, including mobile operators, handset and chip manufacturers, content providers, and software and OS developers.

As an advisor member, Communology will participate in OMTP’s working groups including the Visual Voicemail and BONDI mobile web tasks. Visual Voicemail offers a visual interface simplifying message access and message management and increasing the functionality of voicemail. Communology is partnering with leading mobile operators to provide a framework for the use of VVM on mobile phones.
