Louisville, KY, May 24, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Interactive agency, LeapFrog Interactive is unveiling a new website - www.streetballlouisville.com - for the YUM! Brands Streetball Louisville tournament that will take place next month in downtown Louisville.
Streetball Louisville is the largest three-on-three tournament in Kentuckiana, drawing roughly 2,500 players and more than 50,000 spectators from Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. The tournament, now in its 17th year, will take place June 25-26 at the corner of Witherspoon and Preston Streets near Waterfront Park and Louisville Slugger Field.
Proceeds from the tournament go to benefit Cabbage Patch Settlement House.
“We are very proud to be a sponsor of Streetball Louisville! The services Cabbage Patch provides to our community are amazing. Their commitment to struggling children and families makes us proud to be part of such a wonderful event,” said Daniel Knapp, President of LeapFrog Interactive.
This year, Cabbage Patch was looking for a site that portrayed Streetball Louisville as a family fun event with a hip, positive spin. They turned to LeapFrog to develop a site with attitude and family-friendly style.
“Our Team was excited about the project for Streetball Louisville and it shows,” said Knapp. “Working hard to be a help to our community is something we strongly believe in ourselves.”
The new tournament site contains an online registration system for volunteers who want to donate their time, a new ranking algorithm to match up teams more evenly, a photo gallery, event schedules, sponsor lists, and maps to the location.
