New York, NY, October 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- VH1 Glam God winner Indashio, Author Zangba Thomson (Three Black Boys) and Jive Recordings Lee Carr.

Alerte, Carter & Associates is pleased to announce representation of two new clients on their 2008/2009 roster. Jive Records newest sensation Lee Carr, Author Zangba Thomson and VH1 Glam God winner Indashio.

Lee Carr-
Born and raised in New York, singer/songwriter/producer Lee Carr first landed on record in 2006 when his track "Act Like That" made the Waist Deep soundtrack. In 2008 representatives from the Jive label signed Carr in the parking lot right outside of his day job. The label released his single "Stilettos” which is bubbling on the Billboard charts, it's obvious he made a wise choice. Co-written by Lee, "Stilettos" is a sassy track that is sure to become a soundtrack for every girl who loves rockin' her heals and every guy that likes to see a girl in those heels. Now, Lee is more determined to be 2008's breakout R&B man; and without a doubt, that "shooting for the stars" resolve can be heard in his records. From the player swagger of the surefire club hit "What's It Gonna Be," the seduction of "She's A Keeper" and the sexy, slow dance groovier that is "Breathe," Lee Carr has only just begun winning our hearts.

Indashio-
On Thursday, October 16th 2008, VH1’s “Glam God” host Vivica A. Fox announced stylist Indashio, as the winner of VH-1's first "Glam God" televised contest series.

As one of the youngest designers to have ever graced the New York, Miami, and Los Angeles fashion weeks, 23 year old fashion designer, magazine editor, celebrity stylist and entrepreneur, Indashio exudes a true artist’s sensibility mixed with old school New York chutzpa. His in-your-face (yet sincere) attitude does away with formality and replaces it with earnest creativity and bon voyant flair! Since launching his line in 2003, Indashio continues to receive international notoriety from numerous publications including WWD, as well as frequent appearances on MTV and has been seen on such shows as 8th&Ocean, and MADE. Known for incorporating charitable organizations, such as the "Make-A-Wish" foundation, into his fashion shows Indashio has also become known as the "Humanitarian Designer". He has expanded his brand beyond his clothing creations with a fragrance and styling celebrities for magazines. Some of his clients have included Nicky Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Kathy Lee Gifford, Lil’ Kim, Vanessa Carlton and Tyra Banks to name a few. Indashio currently resides in NYC, where he gets most of his inspiration.

Zangba Thomson-
With a name that means “all powerful, ruler of all” one must sit and read. Born into the Gribo Tribe, Zangba Thomson enjoyed his childhood in West Africa. He and his sister climbed trees and picked fresh fruit in their backyard.

At the age of eight when he and his sister got off the plane at JFK airport he had no idea how his life would change. Thanks to his new found friend Salidean Brown or Wild Sal for short, Zangba was introduced to a world that he never knew existed. Because of his way with words Zangba was inspired by all Hip Hop’s greatest and began to rhyme. He currently released “Three Black Boys” which is an edgy novel that is as intense as it is pointed and dark. Introducing a unique brand of imagination, this fringes on the cuff of journal realism. This vivid, savvy, and altogether street-smart debut marks a bold new voice in literary fiction. “Three Black Boys” in which the setting is an overcrowded ghetto where violence is not taken by surprise. With all the robberies and the murders Thomson amazingly manages to tack on a happy ending after the bloodshed. “Thompson’s ear for street slang is effective in bringing his characters to life and creates a chillingly real backdrop.” Kirkus Discoveries Review.
