Jungle Roses Announces a New Product to Promote Cancer Care
Owner and operator of a national flower store is launching a new product to promote breast cancer awareness, after being diagnosed and receiving treatments for breast cancer herself this summer.
Ogden, UT, October 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jungle Roses, offering lavish rose bouquets straight from the Amazon, will now provide a special “Pink in the Jungle” flower package in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Inspired by her own experience fighting breast cancer, Jungle Roses’ owner and operator, Londy Child, has worked to create an impressive arrangement of pink roses, tied with the classic pink breast cancer ribbon.
In addition to the beautiful joy and inspiration she hopes to bring into the lives of cancer patients receiving the flowers, she has also decided to make an impact with her product by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Huntsman Cancer Center, where she received her own cancer treatments over the summer.
Less than seven months ago Child was diagnosed with incurable, stage 4 breast cancer. She is still currently on the tail end of her own recovery, working to keep the cancer in remission, and is all too familiar with the array of trials that come from an ongoing battle with cancer. She hopes to use her experiences to help guide and inspire others facing similar situations and invites people to follow her story through her personal blogs at www.jungleroses.blogspot.com.
