Local Real Estate Agent Wins $100,000
New agent wins drawing at International Conference.
Austin, TX, October 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Austin real estate agent, Pierre Kennel, won a drawing for $100,000 at the EXIT Realty International Conference held October 14-18, 2008 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.
The 10th annual conference brought together EXIT Realty agents from across the U.S. and Canada in an event focused on celebrating successes, sharing inspirational stories, and providing resources and new ideas for agents to help them to improve their individual results. Over 2,000 agents were in attendance at this year's event, including Kennel, an agent at EXIT Exceptional Properties in Bee Caves.
The drawing was done in three phases, with 22 names called in the first round, five names called in the second round, and a single grand prize winner selected at the end. "I visualized what it was going to feel like to win this prize even before I left for Nashville," says Kennel, who uses positive visualization techniques as a part of his everyday routine. Once on stage for the final drawing, Kennel felt certain he would be chosen. "Bill Nasby, one of my biggest inspirations, was introduced as the person who would draw the final name and I just knew it would be mine," he said. Nasby is a professional trainer and speaker and is well known in real estate circles as the best door-knocker in North America.
Dawn Krantz, co-owner of EXIT Exceptional Properties and Kennel's mentor, also attended the event and was excited by Kennel's good fortune. "This couldn't have happened to a better person," said Krantz. "Pierre is one of the most positive, caring people I've ever had the pleasure of working with," she continued, "and I am so excited to see his positive attitude rewarded."
When asked what he would do with his new found wealth, Kennel explained that he is anxious to use his winnings to further fund his business operations. Having instantaneously hit his earnings goal of $100,000 made at the beginning of this year, he is now eager to see what 2009 will bring.
