CAL Business Solutions Invests in Microsoft Source Code Authorization Program to Reduce Development Costs for Microsoft Dynamics GP Customers
CAL Business Solutions, a Connecticut-based Microsoft Gold Certified partner with expertise in accounting software solutions, today announced a significant investment in the Microsoft Source Code Authorization Program to become Source Code Authorized for Microsoft Dynamics GP financial management software. Of the approximately 2500 Microsoft Dynamics GP partners worldwide, only 3% are enrolled in the Source Code Program for Microsoft Dynamics GP.

The Source Code Program will provide source code access for these Products from the core modules of Microsoft Dynamics GP; Field Service, Financials, Payroll, Human Resources, Fixed Assets, Smartlist, DynUtils, Revenue Expense Deferrals, Manufacturing, GP SQL Stored Procedures and Project Accounting, as well as tax updates and service packs.
According to Microsoft, the Source Code Program has a primary goal of providing Partners with access to some of the source code for certain Microsoft products for viewing purposes. According to Microsoft documentation the program is focused on maintaining low Total Cost of Ownership for their customers by protecting data integrity and allowing for seamless upgrades to newer versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Small Business Financials.
