Marc Turnesa’s win at TPC Summerlin marked his first PGA Tour title after closing on 4-under 68 to record a tournament record 24-under 263 total. Earning a career best $738,000 to catapult Turnesa from 138th to 75th on the money list. Turnesa played the following Titleist golf clubs at TPC Summerlin: Titleist 909D2 driver with Titleist 906F2 fairway wood and Adams Idea Pro Gold hybrids (18 and 21-degrees) in addition to Titleist ZM irons (4-PW) with a Titleist Vokey Design (54-degree) and Vokey Spin Milled (60-degree) wedges. Turnesa finished with a Scotty Cameron Fastback putter.
Kapalua Classic - LPGA Tour
Morgan Pressel birdied the 72nd hole to win the Kapalua Classic after closing the final day 3-under-par 69 for an 8-under par 280 total. Pressel played the following Callaway golf clubs: Callaway FT-5 driver with Callaway X fairway wood and Callaway FT hybrids in addition to Callaway X-Forged (3-PW) and finished with an Odyssey White Hot Tour #2 putter.
Chattanooga Classic - Nationwide Tour
Arjun Atwal’s win at Black Creek Club, Tennessee moved the Calcutta player from 34th to 15th position on the money list after defeating Webb Simpson with a birdie at the first hole of a sudden death playoff. Both Atwal and Simpson finished at Black Creek on 24-under 264, two strokes shy of the tournament record. Atwal used the following golf clubs at Black Creek: TaylorMade Tour Burner driver with Ping G10 3-wood and a Ping Rapture hybrid (18 degrees) in addition to Ping S59 irons (3-PW). Atwal finished with a Ping Craz-E putter.
Administaff Small Business Classic - Champions Tour
Bernhard Langer finished on 12-under par 204 to record a two shot victory over Lonnie Nielsen at TPC Woodlands – boosting Langer’s lead at the top of the money list. Langer played the following golf clubs at TPC Woodlands: Adams Speedline prototype driver with Adams Insight BTY fairway woods (12.5 and 18.5 degrees) and Adams Idea a2 irons (4-PW) in addition to an Adams Puglielli wedge (58-degrees). Langer finished with an Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball Long putter.
Portugal Masters - European Tour
Spain’s Alvaro Quiros has won the Portugal Masters at the Oceânico Victoria Golf Course holding off a resolute challenge from Robert Karlsson. Quiros collected the €500,000 winner’s cheque after a final round 68 for a 19-under par total. Quiros played the following golf clubs in Vilamoura: Callaway FT-5 driver with a Callaway X fairway wood and Callaway X prototype irons whilst finishing with an Odyssey Black Series #1 putter.
