About the Author

James E. Browning, D.C. received his chiropractic degree, graduating with honors, from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981. Since his early years in practice he has been actively engaged in ongoing clinical research of patients with chronic pelvic pain and the mechanically induced Pelvic Pain and Organic Dysfunction (PPOD)

syndrome. He has presented the results of his work at research symposiums in North America and Canada. Dr. Browning has published a number of papers covering various aspects of the mechanically induced PPOD syndrome that have appeared in several peer reviewed journals. In addition, he has authored a chapter on this topic which has been included in the text Somatovisceral Aspects Of Chiropractic: An Evidence-Based Approach.
