Sigma Group Named as Finalist in 5th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
Oradell, NJ, October 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Shannon Morris, President and Partner of Sigma Group was named a Finalist in the Best Executive category in The 5th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 14. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.
More than 1,200 entries were submitted for consideration in 50 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program.
This year has been the sixth consecutive year of double-digit growth for Sigma Group under Shannon Morris’ leadership. Morris has guided the strategic vision of the agency in every capacity – including executing a highly targeted recruitment effort focused on integration and emerging media - and has won numerous awards including a recent selection by Inc.
