Mt Pleasant’s Coco’s Café Introduces New Catering Service in Time for Holidays
Mt. Pleasant, SC, October 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- With the holiday party season just around the corner, Coco’s Café is taking its brand of affordable French cuisine directly to private parties and special events. The new catering manager, Tim Schaefer, is bringing his years of experience to the restaurant’s latest culinary venture.
Coco’s catering menu reflects the same quality of its restaurant menu, featuring items, such as duck prosciutto, smoked salmon mousse, coq au vin filo purses and puff pastries filled with triple creamed brie and apple-onion confit. Hired to oversee the restaurant’s new catering service, Schaefer has worked at such Charleston establishments as Meritage, Rosebank Farms Café, 39 Rue de Jean and Granville’s Café and Catering. Originally from Greenville, Ohio, Schaefer holds degrees from both Wright State University and Trident Technical College. At Coco’s, Schaefer will be responsible for booking and managing all catering events, as well as directing the nightly operations of the restaurant. He lives in Summerville with his wife and twin infant daughters.
Stephen Ollard, owner and executive chef of Coco’s Café, is looking forward to expanding his restaurant’s dining experience to the catering industry. “With our catering service, we want to give diners a new way to enjoy sophisticated flavors that are both health-conscious and accessible,” he says. “We think truly great food shouldn’t have to be a once-a-year luxury.”
