Team Informa Shares in NYC Cares

New York, NY, October 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The dedicated Informa participants engaged in a variety of tasks at the Our World Neighborhood Charter School (OWN) in Astoria, Queens, such as painting colorful murals, adding bright new line games to the playgrounds, organizing the school libraries, planting flowers, and sculpting the lawns. In doing so, they were creating a more vibrant environment thus helping to give hundreds of children cleaner, safer, and stimulating surroundings in which to learn and grow.

Sherri Niziolek of Informa Healthcare used her creativity and pulled out some big brushes to complete a mural that displayed an artistic talent of monumental proportions. Ken Breese and Rachel Wikoff of Informa Healthcare displayed acute precision and aim as they carefully coated the classroom baseboards that left a luster of perfection. Chris DiBiase of Informa Healthcare transformed the concrete slate into a magnificent botanical garden that could be mistaken for one of the Seven Wonders of the World. But it was thanks to Suzie Chan of Taylor and Francis—the event team leader—in attendance with her son Josh, whose passion and dedication to this cause made this project a very special event.
