Pink Crafts "Throw-Down" Benefits Breast Cancer Research
CraftStylish challenge crafters to “Make It Pink” brings outpouring of projects posted on CraftStyilsh.com gallery.
Newtown, CT, October 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- A unique challenge has been put out by Craft Stylish (www.craftstylish.com ) calling on crafters to make something special during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There’s just one catch…whether the project is sewing, jewelry, knit, crocheted, paper crafts, beading, embroider or quilting…it has to be...Pink.
CraftStylish asked crafters of all kinds to "Make It Pink" and craft towards a cure, and the response has been great. From all over the country, crafters have gotten behind this worthwhile cause and let their creative juices flow, while helping to raise money for breast cancer research. For the entire month of October, Craft Stylish is helping build the buzz by featuring all those tantalizingly pink projects on our web site. Go to www.craftstylish.com/contest/makeitpink and see.
Eager to add even more…CraftStylish is urging craters to take the pink projects they create and post them on the CraftStylish.com Member Gallery. And, there’s even a way crafters can honor someone, if they’d like during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in an optional place provided to post a short story about someone special along with each crafter's project. For each project posted, Craft Stylish will make a donation to breast cancer research to further the fight. (Go to www.craftstylish.com for the complete details.)
To help crafters get inspired, CraftStylish online craft experts are providing how-to pink project tutorials throughout the month.
Craft Stylish is proud to be a part of the effort to support research to find a cure for breast cancer – a cause that helps all our mothers, grandmothers, wives, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, nieces and friends. Everybody can do their part before October ends and “Make It Pink.”
