Finally, Sonos and Philips Pronto Speak to Each Other
AVD Australia and QualiFi are proud to announce, the Philips Pronto Solution for Sonos, a method of interfacing a Sonos Digital Music System to a Philips Pronto TSU9600/9800 touch screen.
Sydney, Australia, October 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- AVD Australia and QualiFi are proud to announce, the Philips Pronto Solution for Sonos, a method of interfacing a Sonos Digital Music System to a Philips Pronto TSU9600/9800 touch screen.
This follows months of research and hard work by AVD and Qualify Systems Technicians, who have finally managed to devise a 2-way ‘plug-in’ solution for the Pronto remote control and Sonos multi room audio system.
Managing Director of AVD, Sandy Howard said “This is has been a long time coming and we feel sure that this is going to change the face of home entertainment and integration world wide. In essence, it’s the missing link between two dominating products in the market.”
The Philips Pronto Solution will initially be available in the following configurations:
1 Pronto + 1 Sonos Zone
4 Pronto’s + 4 Sonos Zones
8 Pronto’s + 8 Sonos Zones
All solutions require a Philips Pronto TSU9600/9800 and a fully operational Sonos System in the appropriate configuration. All that’s needed then is to load the Pronto GUI model and connect the provided processor to the network.
The majority of functions are provided with further updates becoming available shortly.
Qualify recently had a demonstration model at the Cedia Expo in Queensland, and the result was overwhelming. “We’ve had hundreds of enquiries as result of the Pronto’s exposure at Cedia”, said Sandy. “As such we are continuing to develop new and exciting solutions for the Pronto market”.
