Rapidly Growing LadyAdvisor.com Creates Director of Corporate Services Position in Response to Great Interest from Wall Street

Global online community for female financial advisors, LadyAdvisor.com, is experiencing rapid growth as the only resource of its kind. Founder and President Kirsten Lewis announces the creation of a new Director of Corporate Services position to facilitate this growth.

Novato, CA, October 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- During this time of economic uncertainty, financial services firms are eager to support and supplement their diversity initiatives by helping female advisors reach higher levels of production.

This interest from Wall Street has prompted Kirsten Lewis, President and Founder of LadyAdvisor.com, to create the position of Director of Corporate Services to manage and grow corporate and group memberships.

“We have received many requests from retail and asset management firms looking to purchase large group memberships to support their female advisors by giving them access to this unique resource that was developed specifically for them,” states Lewis, a former Citi Smith Barney Branch Manager. She adds, “I decided to create a new position within Lady Advisor to manage and oversee this, because we clearly have a promising future in this area. We needed someone with unique experience and skills to grow it to its full potential.”

Marianne Merritt Talbot has been hired by Lewis as Lady Advisor’s Director of Corporate Services. Talbot brings to Lady Advisor a unique and broad array of skills that she will use to serve the needs and interests of the individual and corporate clients of Lady Advisor as well as the entire online community.

An ardent proponent of work-life balance, Talbot retired early from a successful career in law to form her own highly successful training and coaching business in New York City where she worked with clients from all over the country. She brings a wealth of business and legal acumen to Lady Advisor, along with her famous dynamic enthusiasm.

Reporting directly to Lewis, Talbot will be overseeing the New York City office and will be responsible for directing the development of large group memberships that primarily service retail brokerage houses and asset management firms.

“Marianne is a great asset to Lady Advisor and provides an excellent fit for this position given her extensive background and strong understanding of the resources Lady Advisor offers,” states Lewis. “Marianne has been working with Lady Advisor in other capacities, so she is in tune with our mission of increasing the overall business success of women advisors on a global level. She also has a good feel for the interests and needs of women financial advisors and our corporate partners, and I’m confident she will be a wonderful resource for all involved.”
