Sonitrol Pacific Donates $2,100 to Crime Stoppers

Portland, OR, October 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sonitrol Pacific, a Sound Security, Inc. company, donated $2,100 to Crime Stoppers organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest in recognition of the 21 incidents that resulted in the apprehension of suspects at facilities protected by a Sonitrol Pacific security system during the third quarter of 2008.

For each Sonitrol Pacific assisted apprehension, the company donates $100 to area Crime Stoppers organizations. Crime Stoppers of Oregon received a donation of $800.00, Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers received a donation of $700.00 and Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound received a donation of $600.00 to recognize the officers and dispatchers responding to a call from Sonitrol Pacific’s Operations Center of a crime in progress at a Sonitrol Pacific protected site.

Year to date 2008, Sonitrol Pacific has assisted in the apprehension of 139 suspects. This is up from the 134 apprehensions in 2007.
