Songs for Good

The music creation network, v-band.de, started an initiative to support UNICEF in their mission to help children.

Todtenweis, Germany, October 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The mission is defined clearly. Musicians could help UNICEF with simply creating songs for the “Songs for Good” initiative. All songs created for the initiative would be available in online music stores worldwide and the complete income for each sold song gets donated to current projects by UNICEF.

Artists around the world agreed to put their songs in music stores such as iTunes, Amazon MP3, Napster and many more. With each sold or streamed song the mission for good gets closer to the target. “We’re proud that our members support the idea and I hope that we can support UNICEF with a high value donation,” Thorsten Huber, CIO of v-band.de.

With buying a song by the “Songs for Good” initiative anybody could support the mission and could enjoy music created by unsigned artists around the world. Without any commercial thinking, the initiative is for good only. The platform v-band.de and their partners take all the costs to enable musicians to create their songs and sell them worldwide. The complete income without any deductions, all the income is to support UNICEF.

Since January 2007 – the music creation network, v-band.de, is the home for musicians to create music online with other musicians around the world. The use of v-band.de is completely free of costs and adapted many features for musicians needs.

The platform v-band.de was built by crazyALEX.de GmbH Germany to support musicians worldwide for an easy and free way to collaborate online.
